Awww, look what I found on my laptop. It used to be Gordie's and he moved on to smaller and better laptops, but he had this pic on it. Poor little Landon, maybe 3 or 4 months old (obviously starved, oops) and getting squished in a loving way by Maura. I love it! He is such a monkey now that it hardly seems possible he was such a zen little baby.
This week we were cleaning out Maura's closet and she tried on a pair of jeans from last summer that I hoped would fit her this summer....didn't.....she was laughing trying to get them off and she said "Mom, we need a blowtorch to get these off me!"
And thanks to the Dora the Explorer video that Landon watches he can count in Spanish- I think that is hilarious. I can't count in Spanish- hmmm maybe it isn't Spanish at all.......... The funny thing about the video is that you can hit play and it keeps going- runs thru the credits etc. and begins again. The tv remote doesn't work, so that is the only option. Anyway, he putters around playing with his trains, animals, etc, while the video is running. Lately, David has been taking him outside and playing "Dora and Diego" with him, they look for things, and pretend that animals are lost, etc. It is very very cute. What is really shocking is to hear him talking about howler monkeys, maned wolves and pygmy marmasetts :)
