This is what is really happening when there is peaceful silence in the living room. One should not be lulled into thinking "what a great kid, he's is just playing SO peacefully by himself". Choke. This stuff does not wash off. Two walls of the living room will now have to be repainted (that's ok- it needs it under all that **MARKER!!**) I tried to clean it and thought "I should take pictures of all this artwork and save it" and he wanted to get in the picture. Something tells me that the punishment was NOT greater than he could bear.

the leather couch- marker
he wanted to be in the pic- very innocent looking here - and there is more marker behind his head.
(these did not all happen at once, the leather couch was a month or so ago, but the walls were today and Monday)
I can hear Dad telling me quietly- "it's payback" . If this is all I get payback for, I guess I can handle it :)
