Maura in T-Ball

I know that you are dying to see more pics of the retaining wall....but you''ll have to wait for the weekend for that.

Maura is on the Mighty Lucky Leprechauns Tball team and I took some pics at a practice so you can see how seriously she takes it. The coach is very particular about them learning the basics properly and Maura takes all his advice to heart! There are 12 players on the team. It is an instructional league so there is no competion, just scoreless scrimmages.

She hits it!
check out her back leg- the way she pivots her back foot is called "squish the bug". They worked on the technique last week and it is amazing to see the difference it makes in the way they hit the ball. At this point in the practice, he was pitching to them rather than using the tee.

She gets to first and eventually home.

She did a great job fielding, she really GETS it and pays attention and that makes it worthwhile bringing her.
