Decorating our Christmas tree- Nov 23

On the day after Thanksgiving, we set up the tree. It was fun having Jon and Brian here to decorate with us. We changed it to the great room this year, in front of the big window, because Maria has painted and done all kinds of magic to the room and as a result, it is a great warm space to open our presents in. We previously crammed into my living room to open the presents, this way is much better.

Adam is taking pics of ornaments, Jon and Brian were here this time to help us decorate. 

L. adding ornament balls to the wire tree on the foyer table. It was a "well intentioned invention" to hold Christmas cards, but was apparently not tested in that area prior to being sold. Behind him is the grapevine snowman that lights up. I love that thing. 

the back of his head is so cute I just had to add this one.

While the rest of us toiled away decorating, D. whistled while he made LEGO creations on the dining room table, in his bathrobe, occasionally interrupting with "tell me when to put the star on!".
