I know I sound surprisingly happy. It turns out I was more excited for the snow day than the kids were! We had a big storm come through and the kids had SO much fun playing outside. They took Landon out with them and I stayed indoors. I made them a big batch of chocolate chip cookies and we had hot chocolate and all that stuff you do when there is a snowstorm. Landon said "Mom, it is snowing...isn't that WONDERFUL!?!?!?!?" They were still playing after dark, making burrows in the snowbanks.
Adam was not interested in the burrows so he made a snow slide for them.
Dave was very busy digging the PERFECT BURROW. He is reclining in the burrow in this picture.
