I see from pics that Heidi was in her barista mode, making awesome hot drinks for the Cape Breton revelers. You gotta come here Heid, and have a latte duel with Gord!
We travelled to Ohio to see Rog and Kim, and to sum up our trip: we ate way too much. They are both amazing cooks and something was always being cooked. I have pictures and incidently they are shots of roasted garlic heads, mushrooms sauteeing, peppers marinating and many other beautiful foods. There are a few pics of the combined 8 children running around the house too.
Landon christened their 2 day old leather couch - with puke (sorry) and proceeded to ask "Mom, did I just pee out my mouth?" (sorry again)
Adam followed up with a 3 am episode, christening their new air mattress he was sleeping on, again with the aforementioned (I hate to type it again). Poor kid, I felt so bad for him. We left there at 7 am the next morning, hoping that we would all make it home without wrecking the inside of the Excursion.
As soon as we got home, cleaned up a bit we headed over Bill and Annemarie's for a New Year's bash. Can't miss those kinds of things!!! We ended up bringing Landon back home here at 8pm because he felt miserable. The other kids stayed and had a great time with the older kids.
We visited with Ash and Uriah and Alex over New Years dinner.........very large excitement for us!!!
Sorry no pics, the camera is still in the truck, besides, you would hate me because the food pics would have you salivating and tempting you to break your New year's diets.
