Sometimes kids ask tough questions, the kind you just can never quite be prepared for. Yet we have to consider that it is harder on them, worrying about things like, if you (their parent) might die. So, we encourage our children to dig deep, ask the hard questions.
Maura for example, talks nonchalantly about when Saff goes to the "big kennel in the sky". Right in front of Saff she says these things. She will even go as far as to mention the next dog we will get.
And Adam at age 5, on finding out that Great-Grandpy was approaching 90, tells him "When I'm 9 you'll be dead".
We are sure that Landon will navigate these questions with a little more finesse.
Here's Landon with his gut-wrenching question:
In case you didn't catch that here it is translated: ( "Mom, when you die can I have your room?") highlight the area between the two brackets to see the translation.
