I spotted a really tiny slug on the kid's little slide and thought Landon my be interested in seeing it. I wondered what he might think of it, would he want to hold it? Would he think it was gross? So I called him over, in the same second that he spotted it he was swatting at it and squished it with his hand exclaiming, "I'll kill it for you, Mom". I had not expected that reaction at all, so I told him that wasn't nice to do to the slug, and his reply "he is in his dead home now, that is where he wants to be"

He was playing with his Rescue Heroes and I overheard him say "What a rip-off". I shook my head a little and said out loud "you are such a......." and I couldn't think of a word and didn't realize he was listening, so I kind of trailed off and he said "...chubby? you can call me the name chubby"
