How it went...

When I came back to pick up Landon, he was peeking out the door window. (The one he is peeking into in the photos below). He wanted to stay and play on the playscape for a few minutes afterward so I used that time to get caught up with Mrs. M.

Observations by the teachers:
"He is a BUSY boy, isn't he? He doesn't like to sit in one spot for very long"
"he's funny!"
"He sure talks alot, when he came for screening he didn't speak to us at all."
"What are his 'ordinary' friends? He called them Disappear and Rick?" (They are his imaginary friends, and yep, that's their names.)
"He told me that his legs would bleed if he didn't eat soon"

Observations by Landon:
He knows all the boys names, but says there are no girls in his class. When in fact, half are girls.
"Mrs. M is my teacher and she is a grandma." (assumption based on her white hair) Gorgeous white hair, I might add.
Maria asked him how many kids are in his class and he told her "all of them"
He MISSED me! I was so thrilled to hear that!
He loved school and was busting to go this morning but he doesn't go til afternoon. I have had to remind him of that many times already this morning.

We tried to get a pic together; we need to work on the focus issues. But it works for me- look at my lovely complexion when it is out of focus!!

"look into my eyes, Mom"

Here a shot of the sun setting on the trees across the runway. Dave wanted me to take this pic, he loves how it looks like half the trees have turned to their fall colors and the bottom half hasn't. He was so insistent that this pic be taken that he brought my camera to me outside while Adam and I were playing a mean and scary game of catch. How could I resist that? That's my Derf!
