Photoshop hits and misses.

Oh dear. Oh dear. Oh Dear.

I am supposed to be ruthlessly going through my hard drive, deleting extraneous photos in order to free up some space. I might add that I fear it's infrastructure may be on the verge of complete collapse under the weight of so many files (many of which are terribly similar to the 8 before and after it)

Anyway....this is some of the carnage I found from my early days of learning photoshop and all the magic it has to offer.

Exhibit A:
I loved these overalls so much! They were awesome. So making them into a "water color painting" was a perfect way to turn them into a classic piece of art to be enjoyed and appreciated by generations to come. I wonder what those generations to come will think was wrong with her eye-area and her neck, they will probably wonder why the painter would glob bits of neonish-white paint onto the canvas in random areas.

Exhibit B:
Love this one of Landon, he had just started to really grow like crazy and his looks were changing constantly at this point. Great pic, just why the.......... um, memorial card look?

Exhibit C:

Learning to make collages in Photoshop.
Where do I start!? The floating head of Adam....the children placed randomly over a photo of the family home....all the various skin tones and lighting, the children's names, the halos around each child's head...so many questions burn while I am looking at this one.

Exhibit D:

I saved the best for last. I really, truly did.
What on EARTH? (as David says).

I just hope that it was good practice for me, that's about all I can say. I know that his was taken against the family room wall which had a very undesirable electrical outlet on the wall to her right and a switchplate above her head to the left, so I know I did achieve the goal of getting rid of those. It was a lose-lose situation.

I hope you enjoyed these as much as I did!
