This week's news.....

Landon has been taking lessons from Stephanie and Patti for "lead line" competition in the Fair. He loves it so far and I think he will do well, although I will not be there to see him, sadly. I will be with Maura at a Girl Scouts event.

This little dog is really cute but Landon is really distracted by her! She is relentless with her pestering and always has that huge ball toy.
First encounters with Chloe.

Maura shows off her butterfly. It is actually one that had been stuck to the front of the truck for a couple of days days but she still pretty thrilled about it. It is sitting in a dish inside a Ziplock on my counter. Ick. Cute little girl face though.

Landon borrowed a book from the school's Library, his first time ever :) it is called Blueberries for Sal. I think it is one of the cutest books ever written and illustrated. Landon brought it over to Gord after we had finished reading the Bible at the table and said "now you can read my book" and pulled his chair up close to G.

Landon's teacher gave him seeds, not sure what they were, but he insisted on "planting" them right beside the tomato plants and then watering them with a water bottle that was in his backpack. He checks everyday to see if they are growing. They aren't.

In Adam and David news.....
D. is selling Popcorn for his Boy Scout troop, he really wants that Lego set (sell $500 worth and you get a $15 Lego set) so if you are interested in supporting him and them, contact Dave.

We had Adam's open house night and met all his teachers, saw his classrooms, etc. It was great, we are very happy with the school so far and he is doing really well. They have a website called Parent Portal which has all their grades on it and homework
assignments, etc. He is learning Latin, has Phys Ed everyday this semester  and will soon be learning to sew!
