Landon's teacher holds a "Harvest Party" rather than a Halloween Party. Each child wears an animal costume and brings a snack that their animal would eat. Landon wore the same shark costume that David wore to the same party in 2004 (it is actually a shark disguised as a sailor) and brought tuna sandwiches. The big bonus was that he didn't realize there was more to Halloween and we didn't have to take him Trick-or-treating.
Maura and David joined Wendi B and her kids for trick-or-treating. Maura is Prince Padme from Star Wars (I think) and we did her hair like this. It had so much mousse in it that when she woke up the next morning it looked the same and it was still in good enough shape to wear it to the Bible conference later in the afternoon.
David was a robber/thug and unfortunately, he fell ill during trick-or-treating and had to come home.
