Happy Anniversary to us!

It's our 18th Wedding Anniversary today!! We were married on this date in 1990 in Sydney, NS. Friends and relations from New England came in from Boston on one flight, occupying most of the airplane. We were overwhelmed with the amount of friends and family who made their way there on Thanksgiving weekend. We have so many great memories of our wedding; mostly because of the friends/family who came to celebrate with us. I still hear people repeat lines from Grandpa's memorable speech. Heidi and Ashley were still so little and looked so beautiful in those gorgeous dresses Mom made. Mom was very young to be marrying off a daughter!

We don't have many pics of the two of us alone, (I've gotten over that, can't you tell?)
Here we are, my handsome new hubby and me.
I do like this one of us cutting the cake- Mom decorated the cake.
And my dress- I loved my dress so much- the sleeves were awesome then! I still love it!

I love so many things about this picture! I love seeing my grandparents, all looking so healthy and strong. My littlest sisters, what can I say? SOOO very adorable.

My Dad and me- " I lost her down another aisle" remember that story he told at the wedding?

Thanks for taking a little trip down memory lane with me. It's been a wonderful 18 years and God has blessed us so much, we have much to be thankful for!

Ramona - Congratulations on your 18th! I didn't realize you guys got married the same year as Dave and I. Isn't it amazing how quickly time passes..you look back and think..18 years??? but I still feel 25 : - ) All the best!

Ash- you were TOO cute.

Suse- so young, I know, kind of crazy but I wouldn't change it!

Angie- Thanks! I didn't realize that either, it seemed like you were married so long before us :) 18 years sound long, but seems so short!

right on! happy anniversary.
I just remember being bored with pictures, going up to the room to watch TV, and everyone was looking for me. haha. nobody was annoyed with me though...

that night in the pool, Jim McCandlass told the overly cautious lifeguard that he was my father so that I could stay in.

Barry even got a haircut, eh.

good times!
