Build a Bear

Landon and Maura used their Christmas money from Aunt Iris and Uncle Barry to buy new Build A Bears. It was Landon's first one and Maura's "manyeth" so she was a little more experienced with the procedure.

First, you pick your bear from bins, they are unstuffed and it makes it a little hard to tell what they are going to look like in the end. Maura was very careful, picking two or three before settling on the Hannah Montana white bear. Landon grabbed the dinosaur as he was walking by it and that was the extent of his decision making.

You can then choose a saying for the bear, we skipped this because it adds about $5 to the tab. And it makes the bear very annoying.

Then you stuff the bear, with help from the worker. This is the cutest part, as you will see in the video that they stick a heart in the bear after you have kissed the heart and made a wish. Then the worker sews the bear up and you have to go to the bathtub and wash the bear. Maura told me that we did this part wrong, apparently you step on a floor pedal and it makes air come out of the "shower heads" - we missed that step.

Next you buy outfits for the bear. The selections are so amazingly cute and adorable and tempting and makes you want to run back and make a teddy bear for yourself and dress it up! Maura choose a cute outfit suitable for a Hannah Montana character and Uggs boots. Landon chose a Superman shirt and camo shorts and a football. He is dressing his teddy just like himself. Shorts in the winter and mandatory mismatch.

Then you go to the computers and swipe the Bear's barcode and enter all kinds of info, name your bear and you get a birth certificate our of the deal
