In Maura's class each student gets a chance to be "Star of the Week". The other students contribute a card with a compliment about the "Star of the Week". Maura's turn was the week before Thanksgiving. She was so happy to come home with these cards bearing the cutest sentiments. She wanted to take them to her room and play school with them but I begged her to leave them with me, I wanted to photograph them and put them on here. Two months later, here I am with the pics. Maura can finally have her cards back.
If you can't read them, click on the pic and it should open up larger for you.

Maura is a good listener.
Maura is a kind friend.
Maura is good at math. (lots of math equations on that card)
Maura is a good friend.
Maura is a good friend because she is nice to people.

Maura is never, never, never mean.

The teacher started off the list with "Maura is well-behaved in class" (the second card from the top)

The top one is her own. "I can spell very good"
Second one "Maura is good at schoolwork and that is great because in 3rd grade there is more homework."
The bottom one is the one that I got a kick out of. Maura never shouts out. If you look at the drawing they are seated on "the rug" and the teacher is asking a questions, one child is answering and Maura is raising her hand! I love it! Great little artist!
