David bought the cutest little radio that looks like an amp. It came with a t-shirt in the Back-to-School shopping frenzy that we got caught in on Wednesday. The antenna on the radio is a little bit touchy so he went outside to try it out. There was still lots of static, but who didn't learn to hear through the static, back in the day? See how he has the antenna attached to the side handle on the Ranger. Pretty smart, that Dave.
Dave was getting some hints from Gord on how to make it work better. Landon comes closer for a better view. So cute how he leans in, hand resting on David's knee...right?
But awkwardness takes over, that irrepressible feeling that he can't just let David sit there and talk. He must PINCH him, and NOW.

I forget how it ended, but I am sure it was constructive and as Obama says, "a teachable moment".
