We held Maura's birthday party here at the house today. She wanted an Art theme, the color blue and together we were able to put on a party. The invite did indeed have all the info like time, rsvp, etc. but we stripped that off to show you here.

She made up this game "Match the artist with his work" and found the pics all on her own. Of course, Eric Carle is in there with the greats!!

We made Modge Podge canvasses, and after we were waiting for some to finish up they wrote all over the paper lining the table.
I thought this was cool, a streamer layer cake.

Loved the idea for the party. I think I need a girl. (JK) Please tell Maura happy, happy (late) birthday. She should be a party planner when she grows up a little more. Love you all.
I LOVE that party idea - I'm going to have to file that away for later...but who am I kidding, I'll never find it again in my "filing system" a few years from now...so I'm just going to have to come pick your brain once we start throwing themed parties - OK? :)
Too bad we couldn't make it to the Studio Party. Sure looked like a paletteful of fun! Happy B'day to Miss Maura from her west coast buddies! Hugs.
Wow...that was a lot of planning and preparing, but so worth it all. Great to have a Mom that is right there to make it all happen!
