One dark night

Landon and Maura attend a day-camp on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Tuesday is a field trip day so they have gone to some very fun places around CT. Wednesday is a day that stay at the site but have a theme. (Bike day, italian day, egyptian day, etc.) They had a tag sale one day and here was Landon's loot:


A magic 8 ball, a tiger, a truck, a spy tool, also a VHS tape (useless) and a tiny rubber frog. He made the mummy on Egyptian day, from popsicle sticks and gauze tape. The teachers are very creative.



The Magic Ball did not warn us that the power would go out and stay out for a few hours. We were going crazy in the heat and dark, and quiet and did I mention each other's nerves?



Landon consulted the Magic 8 Ball by the light of the Coleman lantern.
