My laundry room.

Mom and Dad came to visit for a week in July. Somehow, on Dad's last day here I roped him into creating a removable countertop for my washer and dryer. He was very quick with the project and left it paint-ready for me.

........months later.............

In November I decided it needed to be painted for Thanksgiving. And so it was. Gordie and I painted in the evenings and we managed to get it done. I'm really happy with how it turned out, looking a bit like the inspiration photo on Pinterest.com

I am crazy about the color, it matches Amy Butler's fabric "Bali" perfectly. (post office lost it :((( ) I like that for the first time in 11 years it has color! But, the thing I like the most is that my Dad made the counter. Thanks Dad.
