Mater is his bud

Landon loves Mater. Today we were playing with Mater and an orange Matchbox truck (aka a race car!?) and putting sticks and pebbles in the truck beds.

Then he stowed Mater and the little truck in his pockets and we headed down to meet Maura at the bus. We were looking for sticks and I found one that was shaped like the letter Y, so I asked him what it looked like. He says "scissors, Mom, say "snip, snip" and made a scissor gesture with his little hands. We spent the rest of the time trying to cut down ferns with the scissors.

Earlier, I was sitting on the front step, where were were playing Mater and he came tearing over and sat down beside me and says "Hi Miss Mommy".
