Mystery Food

A few months ago Landon was in a rut of asking for "Kick-O-Zee" every time we went to the grocery store. I had no idea what this item was other than that it made him cry and screech when we ended our grocery shopping without it. In order to identify the mysterious item I asked him leading questions such as is it a food? what color? box or bag? paper or plastic? He described it as food having a black bird on the box. When I had finally asked him all the questions that I was sure would reveal this mystery item, I was still at a loss so I moved on to the Big Guns......the siblings. I asked David "Kick-O-Zee....any idea what that might be..black bird?..ring any bells, Dave". He looks at me and says "Oh, yeah, that is Kid's Cuisine." And it was. We lived happily ever after.

On the next grocery trip, I reluctantly bought a Kids Cuisine. Reluctantly. I bought it only because I knew he would never believe how gross these packaged meals are until he ate one for himself. The actual heating process is a pain before you even get to the food part. Remove the brownie, the frosting, the cheese, etc. And in the end the little goober left most of it in the wacky little tray and asked for a pb&j sandwich. Ahhhh, there is hope!

Box with a black bird on it- why, of course!
