A rainy Saturday

I woke up this morning to the sound of pounding rain and thinking it was Sunday. I was in a panic about what I was going to wear, what the kids were going to wear, etc. Then I remembered this was Saturday. Then I would fall asleep again. Wake up, same thing. That happened a few times before I finally gave in and just got up. It was our only Saturday free until Halloween- so we wanted to make the best of it.

Sugar cookies just because I bought the cutest cookie cutters on Friday.

Maura riding her bike......

Cleaning her room but not enjoying it.

A fort they made in David's room. It has a foyer and sleeping quarters.

Two of the occupants.

A cute little craft Maura made for her room.

Gord changed the brakes on the truck.

Dirty Jobs.

Adam took pics and found a dry spot to stand.

Calling Microsoft because the XBox is a lame product.

The offending XBoxes.
Calling in the big guns. Sometimes you need the Negotiator.
Decorating the cookies with great enthusiasm.
These are the lights for the front of the house. The color of them has always bothered me so when Gord wanted to change the screws and stuff on them, I spray painted them a dark bronze. We got them down, painted and reinstalled in a couple of hours.

Busy day= tired people.
Tired (hyper, loud kids) = volatile situation.
Now to get them in bed.
