Prized possessions.

This pillow was made for me by Adam.
In middle school sewing class.

It is one of my prized possessions.

And then he got me this:



My bedroom mantle held other Willow Tree people who represented family relationships, but there was none that represented him and me. He was away on Mother's Day this year, but his first order of business after coming home from Ontario was to make me drive him into town to the Hallmark store to get a mystery object. I saw him coming with a beautiful pink gift bag bedecked with tissue paper and I could tell it was something for me.
That is one of my favorite moments.
He had bought the paper and bag too.
With money he had purposely not spent on his trip.
I know! He had me at hello!
