In the recent past...

One thing Great Danes are know for is being big goofs. She lives up to the breed's reputation.

Elegant. Goofy. What will I be today?

If you were looking for me last Wed. morning, you couldn't find me because I was at the Tropical Breeze Cafe with David. Another cutest thing ever. We sat at desks in their cafe (classroom) while they did an open mike poetry reading. Here is the list of poets and their poems.

There was lots of food for noshing while listening to wonderful poems, some funny, some deep, some historical.

The Pilgrim Rap:

(rap)

Sixteen seventy two
I came to America across the ocean blue

I'm a pilgrim
eah that's what I am
I'm a Pilgrim
Yeah that's what I am

I came across the ocean on the Mayflower
It took a whole lot more than just one hour

I'm a Pilgrim
Yeah that's what I am
I'm a Pilgrim
Yeah that's what I am.

The decorations were adorable.

Derf ate quite a bit. Cuz he just got off the Pilgrim boat, yo.

Do you recognize anything in this picture?
That's right- the seaglass in the Ball jar is from the beautiful shores of Prince Edward Island.
Dave brought it in, it's from his extensive personal collection.
I had to leave to go to work. Booooohoooooo. Loved being with the Derf.

Random morning sky.

Getting all the boxtops together for the competition that day. I just think it's so cute, she's quite the motivated little rig when she wants something done.

Bonfire & smores night....

Landon decorated this cake but strangely, nobody ate it.

We ate this instead:

Airplane in the back yard.

Adam using Dave's new bow.

Glad you're back writing again, Mo. Missed you. Wish I could've been there for the S'mores in the backyard. Looked yummy.
